why...

many people have asked us what our plans are as a band for the future, and the consistant answer is honestly also the best fit...we don't know :)

since we aren't even promised a tomorrow, all we have is today.  so where does that leave us?  with opportunity!!  first of all to wait on the Lord to give us answers, direction, and leadership when and how He sees fit.  and secondly, to invest what we DO have in others, completely and unreasonably, without any expectation of return or personal gain.  and that is what we're doing, and will do, as long as the Lord opens the doors.  He has provided for our every need, and i have no doubt the future holds great things~

"let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  and let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another..."  hebrews 10:23-25

what's with the name...

~there is a need for sacrifice from all of us...the things we hold dearest, certainly we did not obtain them ourselves...they were blessings, yet we hold them so tightly as our focus.  they become our meaning of life...the reasons we do what we do are to extend/enhance their presence.  we worship them, whether money, talent, or even as in abraham's case a child...my child...my isaac.  yet the scriptures say God does not desire our sacrifices and burnt offerings, but a BROKEN AND CONTRITE HEART.  so the need for sacrifice is not for its own end but an end of brokenness and the answering provision, the Lord's perfect provision, and then our resulting WORSHIP WORSHIP WORSHIP...not necessarily in word or song but in HEART...the thanksgiving of one who knows he can never fully return the favor.  neither words nor song can capture the true grateful spirit fully, but the Lord sees that spirit and takes pleasure.  so sacrifice yields brokenness, brokenness makes room for the Lord's provision, and our recognition and thankfulness of this provision is worship.  and that's what we're doing~
